More UK Library Workshops
Ann recently returned to Newcastle in the UK where she held three
more of her popular workshops for children about drawing illustrations and creating
characters. The workshops were held at Forest Hall Library on 26th October, Newcastle City
Library on 27th October and at Whitley Bay Library on 28th October 2010. During the
workshops Ann read to the children from her book Violet Jelly.

On the 27th July 2010 Ann visited Newcastle City Library and held a
workshop for local children about drawing illustrations and creating characters and to
promote her book Violet Jelly.

Xabia International College, Spain
Ann visited the primary children at Xabia International College in
Spain on June 9th to talk about her books. During the visit Ann read excerpts from Violet
Jelly and discussed with the children different ways in which to approach illustrations
and how to create characters and storylines, using her book Violet Jelly as an example.
While she was there she also read her book Atchoo! to the younger children.
